Yes, ladies and gentlemen, what we already knew was going to happen has happened… I’ve been officially accepted into the Aleph rabbinic program. Which means that in approximately a decade, I’ll be an ordained rabbi.
In the meantime, I’ve already started my studies.
So, if you happen to be fluent in Aramaic, speak Rabbinic and/or Biblical Hebrew, are a Talmud scholar, and feel like giving a poor rabbinic student a hand, give me a call. Otherwise, just keep cheering me on from the sidelines. And thank you. I appreciate the support.
Ha, you must have more than one friend named Bruce. Either that or I’m having a giant senior moment because I don’t remember posting a mazel tov before. But what yesterday’s Bruce said goes double for me. Now you’ll just have to figure out which one of us posted what!

I do indeed have two Bruce’s in my life! And I’m grateful for both of you (so it doesn’t really matter which is which). 🙂

Mazel Tov – such an exciting chapter in your life story! It’s going to be great and I look forward to following your journey. I’ll follow the blog but will also require infrequent meetings at our secret spot for Lambic and pizza.
Mazel Tov, Jennifer. Call on me if I can help you with anything. Aranaic was not my specialty, though. Herb Rose (Esther also wishes you a hearty “Mazel Tov.”

You are a natural for this and I am really glad for you. Now that I am back in school myself I can speak for how exhilarating it can be.
