Has the world gone utterly insane? How is it that four Israelis can be murdered — one a pregnant woman — and Hamas call it a “heroic operation”? And why did I have to go searching for an article about it in today’s on-line NYTimes after hearing a short piece on NPR?
Where’s the outrage? Where are the voices from around the world decrying the murders, and condemnations from the UN? Where are the photos of grieving families? Not on the front page of the newspaper.
I am appalled and deeply saddened by this despicable act, and my prayers go out to the families of these four — no, actually five — victims.

I do not know how anyone can support Hamas. When I hear pundits trying to legitimize a terrorist organization, my stomach turns.

I have come to believe that the liberalism that Jews have and continue to support includes embracing all enemies in the spirit of oneness and dscounting and ignoring those who harm us,as if we are demonstrating good manners.
In my old age I have abandoned liberalism and am disgusted at the hypocracy of inclusivness except of those with a different political bent.
